Come explore the wonders of the Amalfi Coast on this Naples Shore Excursion. Have fun in the picturesque village of Positano, be amazed by the majestic Cathedral of Amalfi, or enjoy a leisurely stroll through the villas of Ravello. 

You will meet your guide right outside your Naples cruise terminal to board your air-conditioned transportation. The first stop of your adventurous day is Positano. This vertical town is unique for the colorful houses that line the cliffside and appear to just plunge into the sea. You will have free time to walk through the streets which are filled with small craft shops. You will have approximately one hour of free time to explore on your own.

Next, you will head to the sunny seaside town of Amalfi, where you will have one and 30 minutes of free time to walk around and explore. Amalfi is the town that gives its name to the whole coast and is famous for its history and monuments. The coastal road twists and turns past grand villas, terraced vineyards, and cliffsides of lemon groves where the liquor Lemoncello is produced. Visit the imposing cathedral of Sant'Andrea, the architectural masterpiece that dominates the historic center of this town. 

Last but certainly not least is Ravello, a hidden treasure on the Amalfi coast. This charming panoramic town is filled with villas and gardens and has the most beautiful views of the entire Amalfi Coast. Take your time to explore Villa Rufolo or Villa Cimbrone, and admire its gardens and charming terraces overlooking the sea. You will one hour and 30 minutes of free time. 

As you venture through this little corner of paradise your driver/ guide will be your narrator, providing bits and pieces of fascinating facts about your stops. Take in the fragrant scents of the lemon trees and beautiful majolica domes that carry the dominant colors of the coast of Amalfi.

As your day comes to an end, your driver will return you to your Naples cruise terminal! This will definitely be a day to remember and one you will be talking about for some time to come!

• Sensible, rubber-soled walking shoes are highly recommended along with sun protection.
  
• As you may be visiting a religious or memorial site, shoulders and knees must be covered for men and women.
  
• Please pay attention to the restrictions and requirements for this excursion, no refund will be granted if the requirements are not met.
• We suggest you bring along bottled and snacks.

Where we meet

Excursion Restrictions

• This excursion is not wheelchair accessible.
• Guests must be able to step in and out of the transportation.
• Guests must be able to walk for more than 2 hours and to walk on paved, gravel, and cobblestone surfaces, some on inclines.
• There are steps required to enter several of the sites as well as steep curbs in some areas.

Excursion FAQ

Cancellation

• Your ship arrives into port late and you cannot make it in time to the meeting location (we will verify with the tour operator).
• Your ship skips/misses the port.
• Weather conditions or equipment failure prevents the operator from running the excursion.
• A medical problem prevents you from safely participating in the excursion (we will verify with the excursion operator and the guest may send doctor's note). This applies to individuals only and not the remainder of the group.
  
• Cancellations/deposit refund requests that do not comply with the above may not be subject to refund.
