Roatan, Zipline, and Gorgeous Beach...all three go hand in hand! The first part of your adventure shore excursion takes you to one of the best zipline canopy outfits. Travel time to and from your Roatan Coxen Hole or Mahogany Bay cruise terminal is 15 to 20 minutes. With 16 platforms set up in the jungle trees, this zip line course was constructed with safety and fun in mind.

The views of West Bay are amazing from this jungle area. 13 safety-approved steel suspension cables are used with the longest being 1,300ft long! The total cable length is over 2 miles of zip-lining fun!! You will zip along from platform to platform with highly trained guides assisting for each take-off and landing.

This was a great excursion. We easily located our tour provider. There were only 3 in my party and another family of 5 in the van. The van was clean and we had plenty of room. My grandson (7) and I(60)did the basic zip lines. I definitely was the oldest person there by about 30 years. There were about 15 separate lines and there were uphill stairs to climb which was a little challenging. Staff was great and I felt very safe. On some of the higher courses they had my grandson ride in tandem with staff due to his size and the wind. They had a photographer there and for $20 he emailed me about 30 different photos he had taken, which I thought was very reasonable. After we finished we got back on the van for a five minute trip to Paradise Beach resort. We were quickly checked in and given our arm bands. We each were able to have individual chairs by the beach and also had access to the beautiful pool. A bucket of beer was about $15. The food was a little pricey, but there are people walking the beach selling homemade things like empanadas (3 for 10$) and enchiladas if you’re a little adventurous. Our bus driver stayed with us until we were ready to return and we were taken back to the port with plenty of time to spare.

Back in 2018, our church small group went on a cruise with 11 couples. Several of us decided on this excursion, and it did not disappoint. The guides were fun and careful with us, and we all soared through the treetops, looking at all the sights. The beach break was just enough time to get something to eat and relax for a bit. Our cruise group has gone on to cruise together yearly since that 2018 inaugural trip, and this excursion is one of two of my favorites of all time. Two thumbs up!

they did great, felt safe. but was not US standards, i.e. used a gloved hand to guide and brake yourself. cables are around trees and have been doing zip line for 14 yrs. BUT felt safe and had fun. A series of 9 lines progressively longer and faster. you are above treetops and it us both scenic and fun. when you go to beach, dont snorkel, it wasn't very good

I'm afraid of heights but this did not bother me. Both of the guides were great! It rained, actually poured for awhile, and the \"show went on.\" Some pictures were taken we could purchase but one on our group had none but she did ride tandem with a guide most of the time.

This past week we travelled to Roatan and did the Zip & Dip tour with South Shore Canopy tours. We meet the tour company at the pier, paid the remaining balance of what we owed that got on a bus and went zip lining through the jungle. The tour guides were very nice there, one even was able to help my wife go down as she was scared of heights. The only bummer was that it rained for about half of our zip lining tour, which made it difficult to see the beautiful scenery. We purchased our zip lining pictures (they were very reasonably priced) and then got back on the bus and went to the beach. By this point the sun was starting to come out again. There were about 8-10 people in the group and we all put our stuff down to enjoy the beach. There were a lot of vendors on the beach selling trinkets and other tours and things, which didn’t bother us, but I could see how it could potentially bother other people. Needless to say when we got off the bus, the driver told us to be back on the bus by 2:00 to head back to the ship (it was about 11:00 at this point). As I mentioned earlier there were vendors on the beach and my wife and I found a guy who rented a JetSki to us for half an hour (it was about 11:15 or 11:20 by this point). So we hopped on the JetSki and enjoyed our half hour with it. We came back, my wife sat in a beach chair and I went for a dip for about 10 minutes near the shore. As I was drying off, my wife noticed that none of the people we came with were around anymore. We asked one of the waiters from the resort we were at what happened to them and he simply said they had left. This was right around 12:00, the group and the driver had apparently voted to go back to the ship after less than an hour when we were told we would have three hours to enjoy the beach. No message was left for us saying that other transportation would be arranged, nothing. Luckily the kind waiter told us that another group/ driver from the same company were still there. We spoke to him and he kindly offered to take us back to the ship around 1:30. Needless to say, we stayed within eyesight of him until it was time to go. Overall we had a pretty good day, however I would be wary about booking with this company again since we were left behind without other arrangements to take us back being made prior to leaving us at the beach.

Best ZIp Lining in Roatan

We had no idea what to do on Roaten, so we decided to be adventurous and do something we never done before, go Zip lining. They picked up right where it was described to meet. the drive to the facility is about a 30 minute drive, so be prepared for a crazy ride through towns and wild drivers. Our group of 4 was joined by 6 others from the ship. SO only 10 of us in total went. The facility was new, and the staff was awesome. There were three ships in Roaten, and only 10 of us there. If you think you zip line a few times, you are in for a surprise. There were over 10 different lines you took down the mountain, over the canopy of the jungle. They let you zip line upside down, and let keep you laughing the whole time. You can rent a locker for $2 to keep your valuables. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They have a pet monkey that you can take picture with for free. This made my daughters whole trip, the monkey. After the zip lining, they offer to take you to the beach. We did not go, because we were tired and exhausted from the zip lining. We caught a ship tour bus back, instead of our van, since they were going to the beach. This is a great deal for any family.

I am glad we choose this combo to do in Roatan. Everything was as advertised so there were no bad surprises. It was very easy to find our guide when we arrived in port. They were so attentive and efficient. Lucky the weather was more than perfect that day. Best part, the snorkel! Having a variety of activities in this combo was great - zipline then chill on the beach.

THis was a great excursion. THey made sure we were safe at all times and were having a great time. The beach break food and drinks were very expensive but that was to be expected. We were just a bit caught off guard with the prices. OVerall, this was the best excursion of our trip.

Our driver Kelvin was great felt self in his vehicle. The Shore excursion zip line experience was out this world we rode 13 lines and the views are like none other! Edwardo? and Jeffrey were our guides they made sure we were safe in our equipment and also made the experience fun!! The paradise resort was nice, the beach front was very crowded and the locals would swarm you trying to sell their services. The beach had lot of liter on it.

The zipline experience was the best we have ever had. The kids were not sure and kind of scared, one of the staff went with them and they absolutely loved it! Both want to do it again! The transportation was also awesome, she explained things as we went by and was very knowledgeable. The beach we went to was amazing, the water was crystal clear and had many things to do to keep us busy while we were there. Would definitely recommend this excursion to anyone with kids, ours are 7 and 10 and absolutely loved it!

Booked the Zip and Dip excursion for our cruise. The bus driver was full of information about the island and took us on a 45 minute drive to the zip lines. This was our first time zip lining and felt really safe and was in good hands with the instructors. Afterwards went to beach for a break that was about 45 minutes. Made it back to the ship to do some shopping and have a drink.

Went to Roatan Canopy zip line and beach break. This was our first time zip linning and would do it again !!!! The guides and all of the people here were awesome. Had a great time at the zip lines. Very strong on safety. Short van ride from the port in AC van . Very patient and well trained guide. Short ride to beach free drink when we arrived. Nice beach ,but a bit on the small side. And way too many vendors pestering you with their goods. Beautiful water and nice employees. Made our excursion GREAT

This was an amazingly fun activity. We had 2 families--ages 6-40, and we all had a blast! We were in the jungle--lush and green, but we could see the ocean from where we were! It will be hard to top this experience. The guides were enthusiastic and fun. The beach break was ok--not super impressive, but then it was raining at that point, so I think it would have been a lot more fun with sunshine. I would recommend this HIGHLY--it was fantastic and we will have great memories of this forever!

The zip line is awesome. The guys that work it do a great job and make it a lot of fun. Well worth it. The beach does not live up to its expectations. It's a beautiful beach but a small area. The food at the restaurant is lacking. Go down the beach and there are more places.

The zip line facility is above the cruise port. Is was neat to see our ship while zipping. The zip staff was very good and they had fun doing tricks for us. Everything was done safely. The beach was exceptional! We sat under the plans listening to live music and beach chair service! The food prices were very reasonable. We will be back!

These guys were so great! I would do this exact excursion again without hesitation. The zip line was great - they gave us extra attention the entire day. Love these guys! They took our pictures with our own cameras. A co worker with me did a different zip line and they charged her 30 dollars for 1 picture! And the cost was double what we paid here. The beach was beautiful. The only complaint I would have is the 6 year old boys trying to sell to you. But that was no fault of the excursion. Just a perfect day! I can not say enough good things about this one! It was my favorite of the 7 day trip.

This was one of the best excursions of our cruise. We met outside the port and took about a 20 minute van ride up the hillside to the zip line park. We had about 15 other people in our group and were accompanied by 6 guides. The guides provided great instruction and were very helpful. We had several people in our group that needed extra help and the guides went above and beyond in helping these guests. We went on 12 different lines. After that we were taken to a beach resort where we were each given a free drink ticket. We had about an hour and a half to spend here. The beach was very nice and the water was clear. From there they drove us back to the port. I would recommend this excursion anyone. You will save a considerable amount of money going through this site rather than the cruise line which will send you to the same location.

Guides picked us up and had a nice drive to the Zip Lines, was cool to see the island along the way. Don't remember how many zip lines we did but it was a lot! Once at the bottom they drove us back to the start and we were then taken to a private beach for some swim time then back to the ship. A great mix of culture, action on the zip lines and relaxing in the ocean.

This was by far one of the best excursions I have experienced. The staff are fantastic and friendly. Alvin our bus driver was very young knowledgeable and made the bus portion interesting. He was also willing to go above and beyond

Alis was our hostess and she treated us like royalty. My wife and I felt very comfortable with her. She stayed with us the whole time. She took us to a special beach that was very beautiful and not at all crowded, and she allowed us to stay as long as we wanted. She was very informative pointing out many beautiful sights and interesting facts about Roatan. We would have liked to take her with us on the rest of our Caribbean cruise. Oh, we enjoyed the zip line too but we would probably sign up for any activity next time as long as we could have Alis as our tour guide. Thank you Shore Excursioneer.

So this was our very first Cruise and we were very nervous/unsure of.....everything. We decided not to book through the cruise line which added to my nervousness a little. However, once we got there everything was great. we are so glad that we booked with shoreexcursioneer. We booked all of our excursions through them and got so much more than what the cruise lines could offer and had the best time of our lives. The meeting instructions were very easy to follow and we had no problems with finding our contacts. We had our own Private shuttle with about 8-10 people on it (with AC). The whole zip lining crew was so happy and helpful. My wife was very nervous to zip line (this was our very first time) and the guides went with her to help her feel more comfortable. The first platform was a small one to help orient you with the whole process. The guides took our cameras and took pictures and videos for us the whole way down. Got some great pictures. On one of the last platforms my wife and I got to go down together. They had some monkeys we got to hold and we saw some cool wild life as well. We then were dropped off at the beach and enjoyed a wonderful beach day. Not really a snorkeling beach but a very relaxing atmosphere. Beautiful water and beach. The shuttle guy asked us when our boat was leaving and we made it back to the boat with plenty of time. Very nice beach with shaded area. Best experience ever. Hands down one on the best experiences of our lives. We would totally go back and do it all over again. This was our first time out of the country and there was never a time where we didn't fell safe on all of our tours through shoreexursioneer. Very professional and highly recommend.

As soon as we got to booth Elvis took us to the zip lining place. He was super friendly and enjoyed talking with him. I did not sign up to zip line so while the guys zipped line they took me to the beach. Elvis continuously checked up with me and after the boys were done flying through the tree tops he brought them where I was on the beach. We set a return time and Elvis showed up early to make sure we got back when we wanted. He could not hav been more accomodating. We really enjoyed our time in Roatan. Thank you Elvis for taking such good care of us.
