After meeting your guide at your Cagliari transportation hub you'll be driven to the base camp in a minivan. Enjoy the spectacular views on your way up into the Sardinian mountain forests. The base camp is at Geremeas, where you'll receive instructions on handling the custom-built 2-seater buggies. Driving is easy with the automatic transmission - no stick shift! Dust goggles are provided for your comfort while on the road. Instructions and a brief practice on driving and then you're off on your 2-hour journey along Sardinas coastal road.

Driving along the coast you'll see the Sette Fratelli (Seven Brothers) mountain, consisting of seven granite peaks divided by deep gorges and rich with diverse flora and fauna. Experience the thrill of driving through the hills, mountains, forests, and coastline of the area. Your knowledgeable guide will entertain you with local anecdotes and his expertise in the area making this a wonderful personal experience.

Enjoy the ocean and mountain views of Sardinia with the wind in your hair on this off-road excursion. When times end, you'll board your transportation to get back to your Cagliari cruise ship terminal.

Excursion Notes

• Excursion prices include all taxes, and fees are quoted in US dollars.
  
• We recommend you to wear sensible clothes and mandatory closed shoes/sports sandals that you do not mind getting wet or dirty.
  
• Bring along sunglasses, sun protection, bug repellent and Euro cash for sodas, souvenirs, amongst others (no cameras allowed on the quads).
  
• You can leave your personal belongings at the base camp which would be guarded safely. 
  
• Once your shore excursion booking has been confirmed and for insurance purposes, the operator will request a copy of the driver's license and passport for those guests wanting to drive.
  
• Please pay attention to restrictions and requirements for this excursion, no refund will be granted if shore excursion requirements are not met.
• Transport by air-conditioned minivan with WiFi on board, due to availability, please be aware that vehicles used in the excursions may be different from the description and vary at the management's discretion.

Where we meet

For this Cagliari shore excursion, you will meet your local excursion staff at the Cagliari Cruise Port's Passenger Terminal. All necessary details will be printed on your Electronic Shore Excursion Ticket. Please allow enough time to catch the port shuttle to the passenger terminal for your departure.

Excursion Restrictions

• The minimum age to participate in this excursion is 6 years old.
• It is necessary to present a valid driver's license.
• The maximum weight per person is 198 lbs (90 Kg).
• Under the age participants must be accompanied by a parent/guardian participating in the excursion.
• This excursion is not recommended for guests with mobility issues.

Excursion FAQ

Cancellation

• Your ship arrives into port late and you cannot make it in time to the meeting location (we will verify with the tour operator).
• Your ship skips/misses the port.
• Weather conditions or equipment failure prevents the operator from running the excursion.
• A medical problem prevents you from safely participating in the excursion (we will verify with the excursion operator and the guest may send doctor's note). This applies to individuals only and not the remainder of the group.
  
• Cancellations/deposit refund requests that do not comply with the above may not be subject to refund.
