This Maui zip line cruise excursion from Kahului begins after a short 25-minute drive from the Kahului cruise ship port, in beautiful Haiku, Hawaii. The zip line excursion base camp is located at Camp Maui, a former US WWII Marine Corps training camp. You will not only enjoy the adventure Maui Zip Line course but also the history of the base camp and the famous Giggle Hill in Hawaii.

Your English-speaking zip line shore excursion guides are ACCT (Association of Challenge Course Technology) trained. They will check you in and provide a complete explanation of how to zip line. As always, safety is first so you will be equipped with a helmet, gloves, and padded three-point harnesses that allow you a full range of motion while zipping through the trees.

After the canopy zip line introduction course, you will start with a trial line to get the feeling of this activity. The zip line course has 7 zip lines, multiple aerial platforms, and tree-to-tree swinging suspension bridges. You reach heights of 70' and speeds to 40 mph, with zip lines up to 900' long! The Maui shore excursion guides are great hosts, emphasizing safety and fun, fun, fun! They will be on each platform helping you the whole way - from clipping you into the line, to launching you from one platform and another receiving you at the next platform.

Excursion Notes

• We suggest you bring along a small backpack with sunblock, insect repellent, cash for any souvenirs, taxi cost, tips, etc.
  
• Closed-toe shoes are mandatory (shoes available on-site, free of charge).
  
• All zip line equipment is certified to international zip line canopy standards.
  
• The park offers professional photography as souvenirs, but your own cameras are welcome.

Where we meet

For the Maui Canopy Zip Line Excursion from Kahului, you will meet at the zip line base camp, just a 25-minute taxi ride away from your ship's port. Taxi cost is not included. All necessary details will be printed on your Electronic Shore Excursion Ticket.

Excursion Restrictions

• The minimum participation age is 5 years old.
• The minimum weight required is 40lbs (18Kg).
• The maximum weight allowed is 270lbs (123Kg).

Excursion FAQ

Cancellation

• You want to cancel at any time, for any reason, before or after your arrival. Simply contact us via email reservations@shoreexcursioneer.com within 14 days of your missed excursion date for a deposit refund.
• Your ship arrives into port late and you cannot make it in time to the meeting location.
• Your ship misses/skips the port.
• Weather conditions or equipment failure prevents the operator to run the excursion.
• A medical problem prevents you from safely participating in the excursion (we will verify with the tour operator or guest may send doctor's note).
  
• Cancellations that do not comply with the above may not be subject to refund. Guests must notify us within 14 days after their excursion date via email for requesting a refund of booking payment made to Shore Excursioneer.
• Refunds may be subject to a service charge fee as determined by the payment processor, please refer to Terms and Conditions for more information.
