Experience a taste of the ocean blue on this deep sea fishing shore excursion in the Gulf of Mexico out of Clearwater. Enjoy the white sands and warm water of Clearwater Beach all morning. After lunch, you'll cast off on the Super Queen, the largest catamaran fishing boat on Florida's west coast, for an afternoon of deep sea fishing and fun with your professional guide.

Whether you have time in the Orlando area before or after your cruise or just vacationing, this is a great way to do some deep sea fishing! Your day starts when you are picked up at any one of several convenient meeting points in Orlando. Then you'll enjoy a relaxed ride to Clearwater on board your comfortable transportation. When you get to Clearwater Beach, the whole morning is yours to do what you like – relax, sunbathe, or take a dip in the balmy waters. At one o'clock, you'll head out on the Super Queen for a four-hour fishing cruise in the Gulf of Mexico, traveling ten miles (approximately 1 hour) seaward to west-central Florida's most productive fishing area. The boat is spacious at 90' long and 32' wide with a maximum rated capacity of 150 persons. The boat not only caters to fisherman but there is also a relaxing sundeck with lounge chairs for any in your group that want to kick back and relax. 

You'll be accompanied by a professional guide and provided with all the fishing equipment you need, including rod, reel, bait, and fishing license. Whether you're hoping for sea trout, redfish, snook, tarpon (in season) or other species, there is a good possibility to hook a variety of fish  – and you get to keep any catch that surpasses the regulation length and weight (check by the boat personnel). Be sure to bring sunscreen and to keep your camera close on hand to capture plenty of shots of the scenic views and fascinating ocean life! You might see manatees, herons, porpoises, pelicans, or ospreys and more. You will have approximately 2+/- hours of fishing before heading back to shore.

When the cruise is over, fish cleaning is available back at the dock at a service charge. Your day of fun will conclude with transportation back to your meeting point.

Excursion Notes

• We suggest you bring comfortable clothing, sun protection, any snacks you might want, cash for tips, food and drinks, etc.
  
• There is a snack bar on board the boat where you can purchase lunch or drinks.
• The ride to the fishing area takes about an hour. The actual fishing time will be 2 hours approximately.
• If you are planning to keep your catch, we recommend you to check with your cruise/hotel if there is somewhere to store the fish. Bring along a plastic bag or cooler to carry the fish back.
• Not available on Sundays

Excursion Restrictions

• The boat is not wheelchair accessible.
  
• Underage children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
  
• Timing can vary due to traffic conditions.

Excursion FAQ

Cancellation

• Your ship arrives into port late and you cannot make it in time to the meeting location (we will verify with the tour operator).
• Your ship skips/misses the port.
• Weather conditions or equipment failure prevents the operator from running the excursion.
• A medical problem prevents you from safely participating in the excursion (we will verify with the excursion operator and the guest may send doctor's note). This applies to individuals only and not the remainder of the group.
  
• Cancellations/deposit refund requests that do not comply with the above may not be subject to refund.
• Refunds may be subject to a service charge fee as determined by the payment processor, please refer to Terms and Conditions for more information.
