After meeting your guide at your St. Lucia cruise port you'll be driven along the scenic coastline to Marigot Bay to board your catamaran. During your 1 hour sail down the shores, take in the magic of the lush rainforests and crystal-clear waters. There are many photo opportunities along the way such as the volcanic spires of the Pitons, Gros, and Petit. During your sailing, you can enjoy complimentary beer, rum punch, rum mixes, fruit punch, soft drinks, and bottled water. You will have approximately 2.5 hours of combined time on the catamaran during the excursion.

When you arrive in Soufriere, the catamaran will dock and you will have a choice to enjoy a guided walk to the Drive-In Volcano with its bubbling sulfur pools and steaming fissures. Or you can choose to take a therapeutic mud bath instead of a guided walk. Then you will make your way to the next stop. Learn how cocoa and coffee are made at the Morne Coubaril Estate, an original 18th Century working plantation. You will be treated to a delicious local buffet lunch of stew chicken, fried fish, salad, "ground provisions" (edible tuber vegetables such as potatoes and yams), chow mein, and locally baked bread.

During your visit to Coubaril, you can continue your free time exploration of the property, just relax and enjoy yourself! Experience nature with panoramic views of the bay. Cool off with a refreshing coconut or water while exploring St. Lucia in this unique way!

After your visit at Coubaril, you will get back on board the catamaran (and if the weather allows) for a visit to a protected bay for swimming or sunbathing at Anse Cochon beach, surrounded by the lush rainforest for approximately 45 minutes of chill and relaxation time. Snorkel gear is provided for the boat to use. Learn the island dances aboard the boat or sip a cocktail as you cruise the coast back to your St. Lucia cruise ship terminal. Live the island life for a day on this St. Lucia experience. • We recommend you wear a swimsuit (for the mud bath, swim, or snorkel) under comfortable clothes and bring sun protection, a change of clothes, a towel, cash for balance payment, souvenirs, tips, etc.

Where we meet

Excursion Restrictions

• This excursion is not allowed for guests with limited mobility.
• The minimum age for snorkeling is subject to parents' consideration.
• Children may not be left unattended on the board; an adult must be supervising them at all times.

Excursion FAQ

Cancellation

• Your ship arrives into port late and you cannot make it in time to the meeting location (we will verify with the tour operator).
• Your ship skips/misses the port.
• Weather conditions or equipment failure prevents the operator from running the excursion.
• A medical problem prevents you from safely participating in the excursion (we will verify with the excursion operator and the guest may send doctor's note). This applies to individuals only and not the remainder of the group.
  
• Cancellations/deposit refund requests that do not comply with the above may not be subject to refund.
