Leonardo da Vinci (April 15, 1452, to May 2, 1519) was a painter, sculptor, architect, inventor, military engineer and draftsman - the epitome of a "Renaissance man". With this skip the line access to the Museum, you will be able to learn more about his life and his work.
Your adventure begins directly at the Leonardo da Vinci Museum, a 20-minute walk (or short taxi ride) from your Venice cruise terminal. You will exchange your voucher at the ticket office, skipping the existing line and getting you inside immediately. Suitable for adults, families, and children, the museum is assembled into a laboratory of curiosity and experimentation and is organized into four fundamental sections: earth, water, air, and fire.
The museum is divided into several exhibition rooms that cover more than 5,000 square feet (500 square meters), where you will get to see some of the famed artists most prized works. Included in the exhibit are some of his most important engineering project that involves over 60 machines, "War Machines", "Flying Machines", "Ideal City", "Principles of Physics" and many more.
Next to each machine is an explanation and the physics principles or Da Vinci Codes that apply and are translated into 6 languages.
As you move around inside the museum, you will be able to examine his anatomical studies, as well as his main works of art, through the use of very high-resolution, back-lit installations. You can also admire and compare some of the major anatomical studies of Leonardo and a reproduction of his principal paintings with the use of backlight technology with very high resolution. The Museum features excellent multimedia displays creating a very user-friendly experience for all visitors. Please be advised that the last entrance allowed to the Museum is 40 minutes before the closing time at 05:30 PM.
Upon completion of your excursion, you will want to visit the museum bookstore where guests will find items that pay homage to his scientific and artistic investigations. Cancellation

- You want to cancel at any time, for any reason, before or after your arrival. Simply contact us via email reservations@shoreexcursioneer.com within 14 days of your missed excursion date for a deposit refund.
- Your ship arrives into port late and you cannot make it in time to the meeting location.
- Your ship misses/skips the port.
- Weather conditions or equipment failure prevents the operator to run the excursion.
- A medical problem prevents you from safely participating in the excursion (we will verify with the tour operator or guest may send doctor's note).
- Cancellations that do not comply with the above may not be subject to refund. Guests must notify us within 14 days after their excursion date via email for requesting a refund of booking payment made to Shore Excursioneer.
