You'll meet your sailing charter shore excursion guide after a short 5-minute taxi drive to their meeting location and board the boat for a fun day on the water. Bring your sense of adventure, swimsuit, towel, and biodegradable sunscreen and you're set. As this is a private charter you can set your own itinerary. You can sail to Klein Bonaire and admire the beautiful scenery of this amazing place. Since this is a private charter, it will just be you and your group of family or friends onboard (up to 10 maximum). There is a base price and a per person extra cost after that.

You might like to sail the southern coast up to the solar salt works. Here you'll see the pyramids of 99.6% pure salt. The process extracts the salt from the water in a series of ponds by using wind and sun.

Another option is to head north to 1000 Steps Beach, so named as you need to descend 64 limestone stairs from the road to reach the beach. The way back up feels like 1000 steps. No worries as you'll be arriving from the sea.

Enjoy snorkeling the coral reef with its multitude of tropical fish and marine life. The snorkel gear is all provided and the staff will show you how to use the gear.

The shore excursion crew will serve tasty snacks (cold soup, quiche, wraps, and seasonal fruit; please note snacks may vary depending on the fresh products available each season) and ice-cold drinks (local beer, soft drinks, rum, and wine) so you can relax and enjoy the views. Maybe take the helm and sail the boat yourself (under the watchful eye of the captain). If there's something special you'd like to do let your crew know and they'll do their best to make your dream come true.

Excursion Notes

• We suggest you bring your swimsuit, towel, sun protection, cash for tips, camera, etc.
  
• Hotel guests are welcome on this Bonaire Private Sail and Snorkel Charter Excursion. Please note that if you are staying on the island, you are required to pay a Marine Park Fee ($25.00 USD approximately per person) if you want to do any water activity. This fee must be paid directly at the STINAPA National Parks Foundation website and would be valid for your whole stay. Please take with you the receipt/tag when arriving at your Bonaire shore excursion.

Cancellation

• Your ship arrives into port late and you cannot make it in time to the meeting location (we will verify with the tour operator).
• Your ship skips/misses the port.
• Weather conditions or equipment failure prevents the operator from running the excursion.
• A medical problem prevents you from safely participating in the excursion (we will verify with the excursion operator and the guest may send doctor's note). This applies to individuals only and not the remainder of the group.
  
• Cancellations/deposit refund requests that do not comply with the above may not be subject to refund.
• Refunds may be subject to a service charge fee as determined by the payment processor, please refer to Terms and Conditions for more information.
