With this private excursion, you will have the opportunity to visit 3 of the top attractions in Montenegro - Budva, Perast, and Kotor. These old towns are not only rich in history and architecture but also the landscapes will amaze you. Be sure this would be a day to remember!

The day starts after you meet your private guide at your Kotor cruise pier to begin with your personalized experience. Climb into your private, air-conditioned transportation and drive enjoy the 20-minute scenic drive to Perast. Situated at the foot of St. Elijah Hill, this town has a magnificent past. Your guide will lead you on a brief overview of this Venetian Gothic town and then you will have approximately 1 hour to explore on your own.

While there, you might decide to take a short boat trip to one of the iconic highlights, the man-made island of Our Lady of the Rocks. It took the town folks over 200 years to drag rocks to build the island and another 300 to build the church on it. The church became a holy place for sailors who vowed to donate treasures if they came back safely. Nowadays, you can see over 2,000 silver tokens displayed in the church. The museum has a large collection of over 70 seascapes and sailing ships as well as a unique piece of embroidery by Jacinta Kunic. The boat trip is not included and it has a cost of 4-5 Euros per person. Or maybe you want to stroll around the town and take in some of the amazing architecture. One building that dominates the central square is St. Nicholas Church, which has a 180 ft (55-meter) tall bell tower. If you wish to enter the church and/or museum on Our Lady of the Rocks, you get to skip the line...no waiting involved!

After your time in Perast, it is off to Budva, the tourist capital of Montenegro. Apart from its beautiful beaches and bay, Budva is rich in historic monuments. Your guide would walk with you through the narrow streets of the Old Town. Budva is said to have been founded by Cadmus, one of the three sons of the Phoenician King, Agenor. You will see the splendor of this town and admire famous buildings such as the Church Sv. Trojica. Afterward, you will have free time to explore on your own. You can\\\'t miss a stroll on the seawall where you can find many cafes and restaurants to enjoy a drink overlooking the relaxing view of the Adriatic Sea. Drinks and food are at your own expense. You can relax for 30 minutes while your private driver returns you to Kotor.

Kotor is surrounded by walls as high as 65 ft (20 meters) and 32 ft (10 meters) wide. The history of Kotor dates back to 168 BC and was settled during the Ancient Roman times. Its medieval architecture and numerous monuments made Kotor a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You will enjoy a 1.5 hour guided walk through the Old Town. The most magnificent building is the Cathedral of St. Tryphon, built in 1166, on the inside you can find frescoes from the 14th century. If you wish to enter the cathedral, there is no waiting as your skip the line entrance fee is included!

At the end of the day, your guide will return you to your Kotor cruise port or give suggestions for you to continue exploring on your own.
