Fun for all ages! See New Orleans from the shoreline of the Mississippi River aboard the Steamboat Natchez. Whether you are looking for an adventure before or after your cruise, or simply exploring the city, the New Orleans Natchez Harbor Cruise is recommended by the New Orleans Convention and Visitors Bureau.
You will meet at the steamboat dock, where the crew will welcome you aboard. We recommend arriving early to enjoy the full fifteen-minute calliope concert on this nostalgic vessel. This two-hour narrated cruise takes you back to a time when cotton was king and life moved as slowly and gracefully as the Mississippi River itself. Experience New Orleans, one of the world’s most active ports, as it is meant to be seen: from the river.
As you float along, take in beautiful views of the city and spot many iconic structures and bridges from the decks of the steamboat. A cash bar is available for additional snacks and beverages during the cruise.

A voucher will be sent in a separate email from your e-ticket. Please read the voucher for any special information or requirements. This voucher must be printed and presented to the local operator. Without the voucher in hand, you will not be allowed to do the excursion.
Where we meet
For the New Orleans Steamboat Natchez Harbor Cruise Excursion, you will meet after a short taxi ride from your cruise terminal. All necessary details will be printed on your Electronic Shore Excursion Ticket.
Cancellation
For the New Orleans Natchez Harbor Steamboat Cruise Excursion, we issue full refund for your deposit or full payment to us if: Canceled by client prior to excursion date with a minimum of 24 hours prior notice by email to reservations@shoreexcursioneer.com.
For cancellation reasons below, you must contact us via email within 14 days after your excursion:
- Your ship arrives into port late and you cannot make it in time to the meeting location (we will verify with the tour operator).
- Your ship skips/misses the port.
- Weather conditions or equipment failure prevents the operator from running the excursion.
- A medical problem prevents you from safely participating in the excursion (we will verify with the excursion operator and the guest may send doctor's note). This applies to individuals only and not the remainder of the group.
- Cancellations/deposit refund requests that do not comply with the above may not be subject to refund.
- Refunds may be subject to a service charge fee as determined by the payment processor, please refer to Terms and Conditions for more information.
