Whether you're in Orlando before or after your cruise or just vacationing in the area, you won't want to miss this visit to the oldest city in the USA, St. Augustine. You can explore the historic charm of this historic town either from a scenic boat cruise or a trolley ride - the choice is yours!

You'll be picked up at one of several convenient meeting points around Orlando, and ride to St. Augustine in a comfortable bus or van depending on the size of the group that day. This history-filled town is located on Florida's eastern shores between Jacksonville and Daytona Beach. The drive is approximately 2 hours. The mild climate throughout the year is perfect for exploring the heart of the town's historic district, with its picturesque cobblestone streets, charming cafes, bars, unique shops, and historic colonial architecture. Visit St. Augustine's historic landmarks, including Castillo de San Marcos, Fort Matanzas, Flagler College, the Lightner Museum and the nation's oldest wooden schoolhouse. The schoolhouse dates back between 1704 and 1716. It was one of the first co-ed schools starting in 1788! There is so much history and sites to see in St. Augustine. You just need to decide how to see it.

When you place your booking, you will have 2 options on how you would like to explore the city - either via a boat cruise or a hop on, hop off trolley!

If you opt for the trolley ride, you'll get the chance to see all the most picturesque sites of the old city. During the 90-minute circuit, you can hop on and off as many times as you like or just stay on and ride the entire loop – more than once if you wish. Your conductor will entertain you throughout the trolley ride with facts and stories about the fascinating sights along the way. It's a fun way for all ages to learn about this beautiful, historic town. The train route covers over 7 miles and it runs every 15-20 minutes at all 22 locations. Note that entrance fees into the museums and other attractions are not included in the trolley price. Guests will be given a map when they board the trolley showing the stops and highlights close to each so you can plan your day. You can hop off to explore closer, then just hop back on the next trolley that comes around the route!

If a scenic boat ride is your choice instead, you'll have a one hour and fifteen–minute cruise on the Victory III. The captain will narrate your cruise along the shores, pointing out historic sights and natural wonders as you pass by. You are in good, knowledgeable hands and will get an insider look to the area. The family has lived in the St. Augustine area since the 1700's and the company was started in 1900. There is plenty of room to spread out on the decks of this 2 level boat. It is 60' long and 20' wide with covered inside areas, open air outside areas, there is room for everyone! There are restrooms onboard and there is a cash bar for guests to make purchases if they desire.

Regardless of which activity you choose, you will have approximately 6 hours to explore the city. Shop, eat, browse, sightseeing in addition to your boat or trolley ride...the choices are up to you.

Whether you choose to see St. Augustine's historic landmarks from the trolley or from the water, you're sure to fall in love with the charm of this history-steeped town! At the end of this fantastic day, you'll be returned to your original meeting point in Orlando.

Such a wonderful way to get to know what we found out, is the oldest town in our country! This was a combo history lesson, sightseeing and just a bunch of fun. We choose the trolley ride instead of the boat when we booked. The top level of the Hop On Trolley was a nice way to see the highlights in town. We also had some free time to explore St. Augustine on our own. We were able to do abit of shopping and get some great photos of the architecture. We had lunch in a local restaurant and the food was amazing.
