If you love to get your adrenaline flowing, then this is the excursion for you!  Ride your ATV across the mountains to the beautiful waterfall, "El Salto", take a swim, and then ride back across an impressive suspension bridge. Finally, to get the blood flowing, you'll take a tequila tour, including tasting, and enjoy snacks along with it. You will need to take a brief, 5-minute, taxi ride to the meeting point from your Puerto Vallarta cruise ship pier. Then board your transportation, which will either be an air-conditioned van, or an open-air bus depending on the number of people. You'll be heading to the base camp located in "El Jorullo" park just about a 30-minute ride away.  There you will receive a safety briefing, and all the necessary equipment including a helmet, bandana, and goggles. The ATVs are either automatic or semi-automatic, so driving is easy. 

Then just follow your Puerto Vallarta shore excursion guide as you are led across the western mountain range and then the desert. You'll follow the ATV guide to the waterfall where you can take a swim surrounded by lush foliage and a beautiful landscape. Enjoy 30 minutes of pristine collection pool as you listen to the sound of cascading waters. 

Then it's on to the Jorullo suspension bridge with amazing views. This is the longest suspension bridge in the world and it is 150 meters (492 ft) above the river Cuale. After that exciting adventure, you will return to the base camp where they have facilities for your comfort. Your total time out on the ATVs on this Puerto Vallarta excursion is approximately 2 hours.

Finally, go on a tequila tour at "El Jorullo Tequileria" for a sample, or two and you also enjoy Mexican snacks of guacamole or nachos. Once you are finished at the tequila stop, you will then be returned to the meeting point near your Puerto Vallarta cruise ship pier.

Excursion Notes

• We recommend you wear sensible clothes and closed shoes that you do not mind getting wet. No skirts, dresses, or flip-flops.
  
• The transportation is either a van or a bus. Some vehicles are enclosed with air conditioning and some are covered open-air style depending on the Puerto Vallarta shore excursion group size.
• Bring along sun protection, bug repellent, and USD cash for transportation, balance payment, lunch, souvenirs, tips, etc.
• Please pay attention to the restrictions and requirements for this Puerto Vallarta Jorullo Longest Suspension Bridge and Waterfall ATV Excursion Adventure. No refund will be granted if the requirements are not met.
• Please note there is a mandatory $10.00 USD insurance fee per ATV that is not included and must be paid upon arrival to cover up to $500.00 USD damages to the ATV. This fee is non-refundable.

For the Puerto Vallarta Jorullo Longest Suspension Bridge and Waterfall ATV Excursion Adventure, the meeting spot is just a 5-minute taxi ride from your Puerto Vallarta Cruise Terminal. All necessary information will be printed on your Electronic Shore Excursion Ticket.

Excursion Restrictions

• The minimum participation age is 6 years old.
• The minimum age to drive an ATV is 18 years old.
• It's necessary to present your valid driver's license.
• Maximum weight for single rider ATV is 242lbs (110Kg) / double rider ATV is 484lbs (220Kg).
• Guests under 18 years old must be accompanied by a parent participating in the excursion.
• For safety reasons, cameras are not allowed during the route.
• This excursion is not allowed for pregnant women or guests with mobility issues.

Excursion FAQ

Cancellation

• Your ship arrives into port late and you cannot make it in time to the meeting location (we will verify with the tour operator).
• Your ship skips/misses the port.
• Weather conditions or equipment failure prevents the operator from running the excursion.
• A medical problem prevents you from safely participating in the excursion (we will verify with the excursion operator and the guest may send doctor's note). This applies to individuals only and not the remainder of the group.
  
• Cancellations/deposit refund requests that do not comply with the above may not be subject to refund.
• Refunds may be subject to a service charge fee as determined by the payment processor, please refer to Terms and Conditions for more information.
