You'll be on the 19 ft McRay custom-built flats fishing boats with two live wells and powered by a 2015 Mercury 115 hp. Be assured that this Puerto Rico Fishing Excursion has a 100% safety record. Your fishing charter captain is certified and has over 20 years of fishing and boating experience around San Juan, Puerto Rico; so you can feel rest assured and just enjoy your time casting. Your Tarpon fishing equipment is top-of-the-line Shimano and Penn tackle including the new Orvis Helios 2. Finally, you are ready for this 4-hour fishing adventure shore excursion in San Juan. You will not be traveling far from shore at all, this San Juan Private Fishing Excursion is for shoreline and inshore fishing.

The captain will assist you with the lines, lures, bait, and reeling them in as well as getting them in the boat. Please consider that some fish are purely caught and released, so check with your fishing excursion Captain in order to avoid any surprises. In case you catch something, for sure there will be someone with a camera to record the happy moment. For those fish that are legal to keep, you can choose to have your catch cooked up for you (depending on availability). Please check with the captain who can point you in the direction of a good restaurant (the price of filleting and cooking is not included).

Once your Fishing Excursion time on the San Juan waters comes to an end you are welcome to explore on your own if your cruise time in port allows you before going back to your cruise ship terminal.

Excursion Notes

• We suggest you bring comfortable clothing, sun protection, any snacks you might want, cash for balance payment, tips, etc.
• Please pay attention to the restrictions and requirements for this excursion, no refund will be granted if shore excursion requirements are not met.

Where we meet

For the San Juan Fishing Charter Excursion, you will meet after a 10-minute taxi ride from your San Juan cruise ship pier, estimated taxi fare is $20.00-$25.00 USD. All necessary details will be printed on your Electronic Shore Excursion Ticket.

Excursion Restrictions

• The minimum participation age is 5 years old.
• Children 12 years of age and younger MUST wear a life vest at all times while onboard (law required).
• The fishing boats are not wheelchair accessible.
• The maximum capacity is 4 guests per boat.

Excursion FAQ

Cancellation

• Your ship arrives into port late and you cannot make it in time to the meeting location (we will verify with the tour operator).
• Your ship skips/misses the port.
• Weather conditions or equipment failure prevents the operator from running the excursion.
• A medical problem prevents you from safely participating in the excursion (we will verify with the excursion operator and the guest may send doctor's note). This applies to individuals only and not the remainder of the group.
  
• Cancellations/deposit refund requests that do not comply with the above may not be subject to refund.
• Refunds may be subject to a service charge fee as determined by the payment processor, please refer to Terms and Conditions for more information.
