Your 6 to 7-hour adventurous day begins just outside your Barbados cruise ship terminal where the friendly, English speaking guides are waiting for you. They will get you checked in and aboard the transportation. As you move away from the terminal, your guide will give you a rundown of the day's plan. They will also give you loads of informative facts about the island, its history, and background.
Your first stop will be at the Flower Forest or Hunte's Garden located in the heart of the Barbados countryside. It is 50 acres full of majestic palms and flowers at the Flower Forest. Or you may stroll the paths at Hunte's Gardens that lead over the gentle hills and get a great view of all the beauty. Your group will vote on which to visit.
In harsh contrast to the soft flowers, the rugged and rocky eastern shoreline offers spectacular views. See just some of the beauty of the surf carved rock formations at Cattlewash and Bathsheba.
A typical Bajan style lunch will be next along before heading out again.
You will receive a guided walk-thru through the Barbados Wildlife Reserve to be on the lookout for Green Monkeys playing in the trees. There is a wide variety of other wildlife here as well.
The last stop on your nature wonders days will take you to Harrison's Cave. This is a breathtakingly beautiful, crystallized limestone cavern is a masterpiece of nature's artwork. Your unforgettable tour includes traveling through the winding tunnels in trams and makes your way into the specially lighted caverns where you will view the majestic stalactites and stalagmites which have been growing from the floors and ceilings for many centuries.
