To learn more about Northern Ireland, the Belfast Titanic Museum and Giant's Causeway Excursion is the perfect excursion for your cruise ship stop. Visit the Titanic Museum, and Giants Causeway and take photos of some amazing castles.

You'll meet your friendly shore excursion crew at your Belfast cruise ship terminal, hop aboard your transportation and you'll start your excursion at the Titanic Museum. On your self-guided walk, you'll learn the story of the Titanic from conception in the early 1900s, construction, and launch, to her fatal maiden voyage. There are 9 interpretive and interactive galleries that stimulate the senses. You'll have around 90 minutes to explore and enjoy the galleries, art exhibitions, rides and so much more. At the end of your visit to the museum, you will continue on to your next stop.

On your way to the Giants Causeway, you'll stop for some spectacular photos of Carrickfergus Castle. This 8-century-old castle is one of the best-maintained medieval buildings in Northern Ireland. This castle has a long and important place in military history as it was the center of a power struggle among the French, British, Scottish, and Irish.

Another not-to-be-missed Belfast shore excursion photo opportunity is your stop at Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge. This bridge was built to connect the mainland to the tiny island of Carrickarede. It was used by fishermen harvesting salmon from their nets. It's 20 meters across and above a 30-meter-deep chasm with rocks below.

Any trip to Northern Ireland should include the Giants Causeway, your next stop. This is a UNESCO World Heritage site and is called the 8th Wonder of the World. This unusual phenomenon was created by an ancient volcanic fissure that left about 40,000 hexagonal interlocking basalt columns resembling stairs. But Irish legend tells the story of the giant named Finn McCool constructed the Causeway as a walkway to meet his Scottish rival Benandonner. You decide!

Your last castle stop for more amazing photos is at Dunluce Castle. This medieval castle was built around 1500 by the MacMillan family. The ruins are located on the edge of an outcropping and are accessible only by a bridge from the mainland.

On your way back to Belfast you'll pass through the lush green Irish countryside that gives Ireland the "Emerald Isles" moniker. Belfast offers a variety of things to see and do and if there's time, you'll have an added stop there. Choose from shopping, museum visits, and viewing interesting architecture and famous political landmarks.

This excursion of the Titanic Museum and Giants Causeway plus photo stops at the most interesting castles gives you a feel of the best of Northern Ireland and its capital city of Belfast. You'll be driven back to your Belfast cruise terminal.

Since a child, I've always feel fascinated by medieval history, castles and the magic behind so when I saw this excursion advertised, I knew I needed to book. Everything was excellent, I learned a lot and with the guidance of the staff we were involved many years back; the castles are magnificent and with a lot of vibes, I could feel. I was like a kid waiting for the next castle. The service is great, we had enough time to take pictures, ask questions and really enjoy the time.

This was an amazing excursion. Belfast is beautiful! We got very good pictures and we learned a lot about the city and about the Titanic (nothing to do with the movie lol). Our guide was excellent and very patient with us. I would love to do this again.
