One of the most popular cruise shore excursions of visiting Belize. With a rich cultural heritage, stop at a local rum factory and city sightseeing complete a great introduction to this tiny Central American jewel.

You will meet your professional, English-speaking Belize excursion guide just outside your Belize tender terminal where you will board your air-conditioned vehicle to begin your excursion. The guide will be giving you info about the sights you will see and the places you will visit. 

Your first shore excursion stop will feature a sampling of 2 samples of local rum at the Travellers Rum factory, where, for only $1.00 USD, you can sample even more!

Leaving the rum factory you will catch a glimpse of St. John's Cathedral and the famous Belize City swing bridge before arriving at your luncheon destination, please consider the lunch is not included, however, you can expect to pay up to $10.00 USD per person. Along the way, your guide will provide historical and cultural anecdotes to both educate and entertain. Once seated in the restaurant, guests receive a choice of rice & beans with stewed chicken, cow foot soup, oxtail, split peas, and white rice boil up, or a whole fish (snapper)...all Belize recipes.

Where we meet

For the Belize Rum Factory and Sightseeing Excursion, you will meet directly at your cruise terminal. All necessary details will be printed on your Electronic Shore Excursion Ticket.

Excursion Restrictions

• This Belize Rum Factory and Sightseeing Excursion cannot accommodate electric wheelchairs or scooters, only those with collapsible wheelchairs can fit on the transportation.
• The minimum age for alcohol consumption is 18 years old on this Belize shore excursion.
  

Excursion FAQ

Cancellation

• Your ship arrives into port late and you cannot make it in time to the meeting location (we will verify with the tour operator).
• Your ship skips/misses the port.
• Weather conditions or equipment failure prevents the operator from running the excursion.
• A medical problem prevents you from safely participating in the excursion (we will verify with the excursion operator and the guest may send doctor's note). This applies to individuals only and not the remainder of the group.
  
• Cancellations/deposit refund requests that do not comply with the above may not be subject to refund.
• Refunds may be subject to a service charge fee as determined by the payment processor, please refer to Terms and Conditions for more information.
