Experience the crystal blue waters of Grand Turk as you head to Gibbs Cay on a short boat ride. Gibbs Cay is an uninhabited island with white powdery sand, giving you that deserted island feels everyone often dreams of.

Your adventure begins just a few yards away from your cruise ship pier in Grand Turk where your friendly shore excursion captain and guide will be waiting for you. They will get you checked in and on the boat for a spectacular 20-25 minute ride to Gibbs Cay.

On the way to Gibbs Cay, your captain and guide will make a quick stop to do a live conch dive. This is a unique experience to watch as the captain free-dives into the clear blue waters for a live conch. Please keep in mind that only the captain dives for the conch.

Upon your arrival at Gibbs Cay, you will be greeted by the resident stingrays. The water here is very shallow, approximately 2 feet (0.6 meters) deep. Float in the water with your knowledgeable guide by your side and learn about the stingrays' habitats, breeding patterns, and their life alongside humans. Gibbs Cay allows you to interact with nature's professional gliders. This is safe for everyone, children and non-swimmers will feel at ease throughout the entire shore excursion.

While at Gibbs Cay your captain will do a conch demonstration and make some fresh conch salad (conch ceviche) for you to enjoy. You will also have some free time to take a swim in the blue Caribbean waters, walk along the beach or simply relax and enjoy the view.

After your shore excursion with the stingrays ends, the captain and guide will take you back to the meeting point next to your Grand Turk cruise ship pier.

Where we meet

For this Grand Turk Gibbs Cay Stingray, Conch Diving, and Ceviche Tasting Excursion, you will meet at a convenient location near your Grand Turk cruise ship pier. All necessary details will be printed on your Electronic Shore Excursion Ticket.

Excursion Restrictions

• The minimum age to participate in this excursion is 4 years old.
• People under the influence of alcohol may not participate in this activity, no refunds will be granted in this situation.
• Underage participants must be accompanied by an adult or guardian at all times.

Excursion FAQ

Cancellation

• Your ship arrives into port late and you cannot make it in time to the meeting location (we will verify with the tour operator).
• Your ship skips/misses the port.
• Weather conditions or equipment failure prevents the operator from running the excursion.
• A medical problem prevents you from safely participating in the excursion (we will verify with the excursion operator and the guest may send doctor's note). This applies to individuals only and not the remainder of the group.
  
• Cancellations/deposit refund requests that do not comply with the above may not be subject to refund.
