Upon your arrival at the harbor, you’ll be greeted by your friendly English-speaking driver escort who will take you on a scenic journey to the Silvestri Craters, where your Mount Etna adventure begins.

Enjoy a picturesque drive along winding roads through the heart of Etna’s renowned wine country. Along the way, admire sweeping views of fertile volcanic lowlands dotted with almond trees, olive groves, citrus orchards, and expansive vineyards. As you ascend to approximately 1,923 meters (around 6,300 feet), the lush greenery gives way to the stark, dramatic beauty of Etna’s volcanic landscape.

This elevated area, accessible by vehicle, is home to souvenir shops, cafés, and the Mount Etna cable car station. From here, you have the option to take the cable car for a thrilling ascent further up the volcano to reach the summit area. Please note: the cable car ride is not included in your tour and costs approximately €52.00 per person.

Your next stop is the enchanting town of Taormina, perched high on a cliff with sweeping views of the sparkling Bay of Naxos. • Excursion prices shown are quoted/displayed in US dollars, however, the balance must be paid in Euros only. The total amount in Euros will be shown on your E-Ticket.
• We suggest you have cash (Euros) for the entrance fee, refreshments, excursion staff gratuities, shopping, etc.
• Sensible, rubber-soled walking shoes are highly recommended along with sun protection.
• As you may be visiting a religious or memorial site, shoulders and knees must be covered for men and women.
• Please pay attention to the restrictions and requirements for this excursion; if the shore excursion's requirements are not met, no refund will be granted.
• Please consider the cable car ride is not included, the cost is approximately 52 Euros per person.

Cancellation

• Your ship arrives into port late and you cannot make it in time to the meeting location (we will verify with the tour operator).
• Your ship skips/misses the port.
• Weather conditions or equipment failure prevents the operator from running the excursion.
• A medical problem prevents you from safely participating in the excursion (we will verify with the excursion operator and the guest may send doctor's note). This applies to individuals only and not the remainder of the group.
  
• Cancellations/deposit refund requests that do not comply with the above may not be subject to refund.
