Charter duration is usually five hours long, however, time can be extended - at an additional cost - if you are looking to go somewhere in particular such as Anguilla, or stay ocean-bound and enjoy a glorious Caribbean sunset. Please contact us for pricing over 5 hours. What you do and how long you do it...the choice is yours.
From your cruise pier, it is just a few minutes walk to the meeting location outside the cruise pier. Once everyone is onboard, your crew will provide some safety tips before you motor or sail to your first stop (depending on weather conditions). An open bar is included onboard and both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are served. There is plenty of room for all guests to spread out and get comfortable. There is a maximum of 22 on the boat.
Your fun optional activities you may want to explore could be snorkeling among an abundant school of colorful tropical fish, having the captain take the boat to a calm bay of crystal turquoise water to try some stand-up paddleboarding, taking a refreshing dip in the ocean, try out the rope swing or simply relax on board in the sun or shade areas if you prefer.
Please note certain brands of alcohol, particular food requests and extended charter times may incur additional pricing outside of the regular charter excursion price. Please contact us with any special requests.
Where we meet
For this St. Maarten Private Sailing Excursion, you will after a short taxi ride or 10-15 minutes walking distance from
your cruise ship terminal. All necessary details will be printed on your
Electronic Shore Excursion Ticket.
Cancellation
For the St. Maarten Private Sailing Charter Excursion, we issue full refund for your deposit or full payment to us if: Canceled by client prior to excursion date with a minimum of 24 hours prior notice by email to reservations@shoreexcursioneer.com.
For cancellation reasons below, you must contact us via email within 14 days after your excursion:
- Your ship arrives into port late and you cannot make it in time to the meeting location (we will verify with the tour operator).
- Your ship skips/misses the port.
- Weather conditions or equipment failure prevents the operator from running the excursion.
- A medical problem prevents you from safely participating in the excursion (we will verify with the excursion operator and the guest may send doctor's note). This applies to individuals only and not the remainder of the group.
- Cancellations/deposit refund requests that do not comply with the above may not be subject to refund.
- Refunds may be subject to a service charge fee as determined by the payment processor, please refer to Terms and Conditions for more information.
