Now is your chance to see what SCUBA diving is all about. This DSD (Discover Scuba Diving) cruise excursion is for beginners with no certification, no previous dive or SCUBA training. It is done right from the beach for your ease and comfort! Learn from the best and most reputable dive company in Cozumel!

Your meeting point for this excursion is located between the cruise ship piers, conveniently located for everyone. If there is anyone in your group that would like to come along, great! There is no charge and they may relax at the beach club while you do your DSD (discover scuba diving) shore excursion.

The English-speaking, professional diver will greet you on arrival and get you squared away. The first part of your excursion is a 45-minute instruction and orientation that is done on the beach. The friendly divemaster will show and explain the gear to you and what to expect on the dive. They are all highly-trained PADI dive certified and will take good care of you throughout the SCUBA dive excursion.

After the diving instruction session, you will get the gear on and move into the shallow water to practice with the equipment with the instructor at your side. Once you feel comfortable, then you will move into deeper water and start to explore! The maximum depth you will go is only about 25ft and you'll be under for about 30 minutes.

After your amazing dive, you will return to the beach with your instructor and may remain at the beach club for as long as you wish. There are rinse-off showers, restrooms, and a full-service restaurant you may purchase beverages and tasty food from.

There is also snorkel gear included for you to use at no extra cost. There are lounge chairs, shaded umbrellas, and other amenities for you to enjoy.

What is included?

Excursion Notes

• We suggest you wear a swimsuit, bring a towel, sun protection, cash for food/beverages, tips, etc.
• Unlimited time snorkeling at your leisure afterward.
• Lockers are available for rent - $2.00 USD.

Where we meet

Excursion Restrictions

• The minimum participation age is 10 years old.
• Guests need to be in good physical condition and complete a health waiver.
• There are medical restrictions including pregnancy, heart conditions, epilepsy, and blackout history, etc.

Excursion FAQ

Cancellation

• Your ship arrives into port late and you cannot make it in time to the meeting location (we will verify with the tour operator).
• Your ship skips/misses the port.
• Weather conditions or equipment failure prevents the operator from running the excursion.
• A medical problem prevents you from safely participating in the excursion (we will verify with the excursion operator and the guest may send doctor's note). This applies to individuals only and not the remainder of the group.
  
• Cancellations/deposit refund requests that do not comply with the above may not be subject to refund.
• Refunds may be subject to a service charge fee as determined by the payment processor, please refer to Terms and Conditions for more information.
