Your adventure begins at a convenient meeting point in downtown Cozumel, where friendly, English-speaking guides will welcome you, check you in, and escort you to your Jeep (up to 4 guests per vehicle). These are classic island-style Jeeps, fun, and perfect for adventure. Follow your guide in a caravan through downtown Cozumel and along the scenic waterfront boulevard as you head north.

At the end of the paved road, the real excitement begins! Your guide will lead you into the jungle along rocky, bumpy off-road trails. Expect an exhilarating ride that may include mud and splashes along the way. The trail opens up at Bahía Ciega (Blind Bay), where you’ll board a water shuttle for a short ride across the lagoon to Passion Island.

Passion Island (Isla de la Pasión) is a private island accessible only through reserved excursions. Upon arrival, your warm and welcoming hostess will greet you at the dock and show you around. From that moment on, the island is yours to enjoy. Picture soft, sugar-white sand, crystal-clear turquoise water, and a laid-back tropical vibe straight out of a postcard!

Enjoy a delicious Mexican-style buffet lunch featuring grilled fish, pork, and chicken fajitas, tuna pasta, seasonal fruit, rice with banana, meatballs, salad, French fries, guacamole, bread, tortillas, chips, pico de gallo, and the island’s famous (and very spicy) habanero sauce, plus dessert to finish it off.

Quench your thirst with an unlimited domestic open bar offering Tequila Sunrise, rum punch, margaritas, Sex on the Beach, Passion Punch, beer, purified water, sodas, and mineral water.  For something extra special, you can purchase other drinks with or without alcohol, tequila shots, frozen margaritas, mojitos, and daiquiris.

Spend your time exploring the island, relaxing in the shade, or swimming in the stunning Caribbean waters. Passion Island offers water trampolines, paddle boats, sailboats, lounge chairs, hammocks, a designated kids’ beach area, beach volleyball and soccer courts, restrooms, showers, kayaks, snorkel gear, souvenir shops, and massages. Please note that some of these services are available at an additional cost. Just ask upon arrival.

At the end of this unforgettable adventure, you’ll return to the original meeting point with memories that will last long after your cruise ends.

Excursion Notes

• Time on the island is approximately 3 hours.
• There will be a jeep per reservation.
• Only standard transmissions (stick shift) are available. NO AUTOMATIC JEEPS!
• The Jeeps can hold up to 4 people.
• There is a minimum of 2 participants per booking.
• Not available on Sundays

Where we meet

For the Cozumel Jeep Off-Road Adventure and All-Inclusive Passion Island Excursion, you will meet at a convenient location in downtown Cozumel, just a few minutes taxi ride away from the piers Puerta Maya and International Pier or a 9-minute walk from Punta Langosta pier. All necessary details will be printed on your Electronic Shore Excursion Ticket.

Excursion Restrictions

• A valid driver's license is required.
• For safety reasons, the driver can only drink alcohol-free beverages.
• The minimum driving age is 18.
• The minimum age for participation is 8 years old.
• The maximum weight allowed to participate in the excursion is 240 lbs.
• This excursion is not wheelchair accessible.
• The ride past the paved road is very bumpy. Guests with back/neck issues as well as pregnant guests should not participate.
• This Cozumel Jeep Off-Road Adventure and All-Inclusive Passion Island Excursion may involve risks. We suggest you check with your elected person of choice to see if these possible risks might affect you.

Excursion FAQ

Cancellation

• Your ship arrives into port late and you cannot make it in time to the meeting location (we will verify with the tour operator).
• Your ship skips/misses the port.
• Weather conditions or equipment failure prevents the operator from running the excursion.
• A medical problem prevents you from safely participating in the excursion (we will verify with the excursion operator and the guest may send doctor's note). This applies to individuals only and not the remainder of the group.
  
• Cancellations/deposit refund requests that do not comply with the above may not be subject to refund.
• Refunds may be subject to a service charge fee as determined by the payment processor, please refer to Terms and Conditions for more information.
