You will meet your driver and shore excursion guide for the day at your cruise port in Falmouth to begin your drive along the North Coast highway to the Rio Bueno River. At the river adventure base, your guide will sign you in and get you set up with all of your safety gear. Your guide will be with you from the start of your river adventure all the way to the beach.
Once you are all set up and ready to go, you will follow your guide across the Irie rope bridge for a walk along the river and onto an oasis of waterfalls and natural pools (should the weather permit). These may be some of the most spectacular falls you have ever seen! As you hike up the falls, there are places to swim or simply just take in incredible beauty. You may even find the perfect spot for a natural water massage.
After spending some time exploring the waterfalls, it's time to get on your river raft and start your exciting journey downstream. Along the river, there are many fun rapids to enjoy and also a relaxing spot to take a swim and a platform to jump into the refreshing river water.
After going downriver for approximately one hour through the valley and over a variety of adventurous rapids, you arrive at the river bank where there will be rafts waiting for your group. From here, everyone jumps into the tubes over the calmer waters to the Caribbean Sea. As you approach the sea the choice is yours, go to the private beach or to shore and continue your tour with a quick walk along the coast to the beach.
At the beach, you will have some free time to relax and swim in the warm blue waters of the Caribbean Sea. When your action-packed Falmouth shore excursion day comes to an end, your Jamaica kayaking excursion guide will take you back to your Falmouth cruise ship port.
Where we meet
For this Falmouth River Rapids Waterfall, Kayaking, and Beach Break Excursion, you will meet your guide within walking distance from your cruise ship at the Falmouth cruise ship terminal. All necessary details will be printed on your Electronic Shore Excursion Ticket.
Cancellation
For the Falmouth River Rapids Waterfall, Kayaking, and Beach Break Excursion, we issue full refund for your deposit or full payment to us if: Canceled by client prior to excursion date with a minimum of 24 hours prior notice by email to reservations@shoreexcursioneer.com.
For cancellation reasons below, you must contact us via email within 14 days after your excursion:
- Your ship arrives into port late and you cannot make it in time to the meeting location (we will verify with the tour operator).
- Your ship skips/misses the port.
- Weather conditions or equipment failure prevents the operator from running the excursion.
- A medical problem prevents you from safely participating in the excursion (we will verify with the excursion operator and the guest may send doctor's note). This applies to individuals only and not the remainder of the group.
- Cancellations/deposit refund requests that do not comply with the above may not be subject to refund.
- Refunds may be subject to a service charge fee as determined by the payment processor, please refer to Terms and Conditions for more information.
