Enjoy the beautiful surroundings and relaxed lounge atmosphere of Playa Uvas, a prime location for snorkeling and soaking up the Caribbean. This beach club offers comfort, great service, and stunning ocean views, the perfect setting for a fun and laid-back beach day.

Guests will meet directly at the beach club, just a short taxi ride from any of the three cruise piers in Cozumel (taxi cost not included). Upon arrival, simply show your e-ticket to check in and begin enjoying your day.

There are three Day Pass packages available, and guests within the same group may select different options according to preference:

Day Pass with Open Bar + One Buffet Visit

All packages include a 30-minute guided snorkel at the stunning Chankanaab Reef and 30 minutes of free kayaking. Snorkel gear and instruction are included. The crystal-clear turquoise water is home to an abundance of colorful marine life, coral, and sponges, making it a fantastic snorkeling experience. Guided snorkel departure times are offered throughout the day and can be selected upon arrival.

The beach club offers excellent facilities, including a freshwater swimming pool, gardens, beach and pool loungers, umbrellas, showers, ambient music, and a full bar. Please note: there are designated water entry points for easy access into the sea.

Excursion Notes

• Departure times for the Playa Uvas Snorkeling Excursion are 9:00, 10:15, 11:30, 13:30, and 15:30. We recommend doing the snorkel excursion before you eat.
• Bring along cash for additional food, drinks, change of clothes, sun protection, swimsuit, towel, camera, etc.
• Capacity of the beach club is 500 people.
  
• Not available on Sundays

Where we meet

You will meet directly at Playa Uvas Beach Club Cozumel, which is just a 5-minute taxi ride away from the south piers Puerta Maya and International pier, or a 10-minute taxi ride from the downtown Punta Langosta cruise pier.

Excursion Restrictions

• The minimum participation age for snorkeling is 7 years old.
• The minimum drinking age in Mexico is 18 years old.
• Underage participants must be accompanied at all times by a parent/guardian.
• Some restrictions for water sports may apply to expecting mothers, people with high blood pressure, asthma, diabetes, and/or similar. Please consult a medical professional for more information about safe participation in this activity.
• People under the influence of drugs, alcohol, or similar substances that may prevent safe enjoyment, are not allowed to participate in water sports activities for their own safety.
• This Cozumel Playa Uvas Snorkel and Beach Club Day Pass Excursion may involve risks. We suggest you check with your elected person of choice to see if these possible risks might affect you.

Excursion FAQ

Cancellation

• You want to cancel at any time, for any reason, before or after your arrival. Simply contact us via email reservations@shoreexcursioneer.com within 14 days of your missed excursion date for a deposit refund.
• Your ship arrives into port late and you cannot make it in time to the meeting location.
• Your ship misses/skips the port.
• Weather conditions or equipment failure prevents the operator to run the excursion.
• A medical problem prevents you from safely participating in the excursion (we will verify with the tour operator or guest may send doctor's note).
  
• Cancellations that do not comply with the above may not be subject to refund. Guests must notify us within 14 days after their excursion date via email for requesting a refund of booking payment made to Shore Excursioneer.
• Refunds may be subject to a service charge fee as determined by the payment processor, please refer to Terms and Conditions for more information.
